Closet FÜMers- Can I FÜM in Public?

A common topic we hear from the FUM Family and have experienced personally is FUM being mistaken as smoking or an e-cigarette. Some of you guys have said to be "Closet FUMers" and have told us that you don't like FÜMing in public places because you're unsure on how to respond to someone if they are offended. So what do you tell people when they ask you to stop FUMing because they think it’s a cigarette?

Educate them

In the simplest term possible, FUM is the anti-vape. Explain to them what FUM is and what FUM is not.
Tell them comparisons of FÜM; such as, nasal inhalers, diffusers or any essential oil tool. And to those who are not familiar with essential oil and their benefits, you can use the toothpick explanation. One of the FÜM Family members came up with this and kudos to them, because it's funny, relatable and true.
(see the convo from our FÜM Family Facebook page below)

After explaining to them what FUM is, if they are still uncomfortable with it, that’s okay! It's all part of the journey in Redefining Health. We want to be respectful to those around us, because essentially we are all on the same side; wanting to help people and stop the smoking and vaping epidemic. Even though, you may have had to stop FUMing around them, the least you did was plant a seed of knowledge in their mind. As referenced to another FUM Family member, "knowledge is power! Hopefully that person will go to, watch, listen, learn and be enlightened."
